Current Destinations:

Pristine Zambia

Personally, Zambia is a country close to my heart and therefore it is my specialty! Zambia, celebrated as one of Africa’s finest and wildest safari destination, should without a doubt be a topmost priority on any nature lover/wildlife photographer’s bucket list. Drawing its name from the mighty Zambezi River, Zambia is celebrated for its large untouched national parks and pristine wilderness areas; its breath-taking scenery; super friendly locals; and the unsurpassed game concentrations rarely seen elsewhere in the world. An estimated 30% of the country has been selflessly reserved for Zambia’s diverse fauna and flora. There are 20 unfenced national parks and 34 GMAs (game management areas) of which Kafue, South Luangwa and the Lower Zambezi national parks have been ranked among the finest and most pristine wildlife sanctuaries in the world.

About me:
elephant-hold-trunks

Born in Kwazulu-Natal and raised near Cape Town, I’m a coastal soul with an affinity for nature and a love for anything outdoors. In early 2010, I escaped the hustle-and-bustle of city living and began my career as a nature guide, immersing myself in the beauty and diversity of the untouched lands of Southern Africa. My experiences as a guide have developed and refined my style as a wild-life photographer, igniting and fueling my passion for fine-art.
Through my guiding career, I journeyed through the untouched beauty of KwaZulu Natal's Maputaland wetlands, enjoyed the bushlands of Botswana and the serenity of the Namib desert. My most recent adventure led me to the untamed and primal lands of Zambia where I spent a year capturing the beauty of wildlife along the mighty Lower Zambezi River. These experiences have been both invaluable and significant in impacting my life, my perceptions and my growth as a wildlife photographer.
